A landing at Changi is not a taxi queue. Bags come late. Children are tired. A meeting starts in Orchard in ninety minutes. Grab surge is a surprise you discover after immigration. A private chauffeur is a name on a board and a cabin that already knows the hotel.

Legacy prices the arrival from the rate sheet before you fly. Mercedes E-Class from S$80. Alphard or V-Class from S$85. S-Class from S$210. GST is in the number. There is no ‘plus tax’ at the kerb.

What ‘meet at the hall’ actually means

The chauffeur waits landside with a sign. Complimentary waiting on arrivals is 70 minutes from the scheduled landing — not from when you text. If the flight is late, say so; the desk works from the number you leave.

Departures use a dedicated rate (E-Class from S$75) and 15 minutes complimentary at the hotel. That is enough for a punctual lobby, not a long breakfast.

Luggage is a capacity, not a vibe

The engine will not offer an E-Class for four large cases. That sedan is configured for two. Four bags need an Alphard. Families of six with golf need a V-Class. If it does not fit, the site will not pretend it does — it recommends the vehicle that does, or flags the desk.

Online reservations cap at nine passengers. Coaches and 13-seaters above that are confirmed by hand. We do not invent a missing rate.

Midnight and peak, written down

Between 23:00 and 06:59 a midnight surcharge applies (S$15 on most cars, S$30 on the S-Class and Combi). Peak of 40% is only for declared events: Formula 1, Chinese New Year, the Singapore Airshow — not every long weekend.
