Tuas, Gul, ALPS Avenue, Jurong Port — the S$30 rule
Any trip to or from Tuas, Gul, ALPS Avenue, or Jurong Port adds S$30 per vehicle, once. Not twice if both ends qualify.
The instruction is bidirectional, and it is not stacked
Jason Wong, 21 September 2026: any trip to or from Tuas, Gul, ALPS Avenue, or Jurong Port carries S$30 per trip, per vehicle. Pickup or drop-off. If both ends qualify — Tuas to Gul — the surcharge is still S$30, not S$60.
The booking engine reads the addresses and applies it automatically. You should not have to remember the zone.
An example, not a guess
Hotel to Tuas in a V-Class is the city rate (S$70) plus S$30: S$100, GST included. Two V-Class to Jurong Port: S$200. Changi arrival into ALPS Avenue after 23:00 adds midnight as well, still one location surcharge.
Other location rules (Malaysia, Woodlands) remain as published. We do not invent a missing industrial rate for a road that is not on the sheet.
Why this page exists
Ship crews, factories, and freight offices book these roads every week. They should see the surcharge in the quote, not in an argument at the gate. Price the journey. If both ends are industrial, the engine still charges once.

- Is Tuas to Gul S$60 extra?
- No. S$30 once per vehicle, per trip, even if both ends qualify.
- Does the website detect Tuas automatically?
- Yes. From the pickup or the drop-off address. You do not enter the surcharge by hand.
- Does midnight stack on top?
- Yes. A 23:40 run into Tuas adds midnight and the S$30 location surcharge. Peak of 40% is only on declared events.
